Welcome to SheetSync. SheetSync ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our application ("App").
We collect the following types of information:
Personal Information: When you use our App, we may collect personal information such as your name, email address, and account information.
Data Provider Access: We access data from third-party services (such as Google Sheets, Notion, and Airtable) that you choose to connect to your Canva designs through our App. Important: SheetSync acts as a proxy and does not store any of your synced data. Data is fetched in real-time from your connected providers and passed directly to Canva.
Usage Data: We collect information about your interactions with our App, including which data providers you connect and your connection history.
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the App.
- Process and complete your data synchronization requests in real-time.
- Improve and personalize your experience with the App.
- Communicate with you about updates, promotions, and other relevant information.
Data Storage: SheetSync does not store any of your synced data or spreadsheet contents. We act solely as a proxy between your data providers and Canva, fetching data in real-time when you request a sync.
Credentials and Tokens: All credentials and authentication tokens for your connected data providers (such as Google, Notion, and Airtable) are stored securely and handled by our trusted authentication provider, Clerk. We do not store or have direct access to your provider credentials.
Account Information: Basic account information and connection configurations are stored securely to enable the App's functionality. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect this information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties without your consent, except as described in this Privacy Policy. We use trusted third-party services (such as Clerk for authentication) who assist us in operating our App, and these parties are contractually obligated to keep your information confidential and secure.
We prioritize the security of your data. Since SheetSync does not store your synced data or provider credentials, your data remains secure with your original data providers and our authentication partner (Clerk). We use industry-standard security measures for all data transmission. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You have the right to:
- Access, update, or delete your personal information.
- Opt-out of receiving promotional communications from us.
- Request that we restrict the processing of your personal information.
